Founded over twenty years ago, RSK has ridden the wave of environmental protection and management in the UK to become one of the largest privately-owned multidisciplinary consultancies active in the natural and built environment. Following its split from ENSR in 2006 (when the latter was bought out by Aecom), RSK has pursued an acquisitive growth strategy to grow niche capabilities and provide an integrated 'one-stop shop' suite of environmental and related services. It is also beginning to penetrate international markets. RSK is primarily focussed on the private commercial sector, enjoying particular success in serving large oil and energy corporates.
